Bedrooms

Each of the nine bedrooms at Villa Kailasha spell luxury and relaxation. The varying formats make them attractive to different guests within your group. They are all air conditioned and have ensuite bathrooms.
- Master suite (king) ensuite bathroom - Separate living area with a flat-screen television and sofa seating. This TV lounge opens onto a garden on the other side and has wooden doors that lead to the bedroom. A king-size bed here looks out towards the ocean beyond manicured gardens.
- Guest house 1 & 2 (king) ensuite bathroom - Located on either side of the main living pavilion
- Guest house 3 (twin) ensuite bathroom - Located on the right side of the main pavilion
- Guest bedrooms 4 & 5 - Sharing a pavilion between them, these two identical rooms are set behind the twin room. Surrounded by lush green lawns, they are perfect for a nuclear family of four with ensuite bathrooms and a separate entrance from the parking lot.
- Guest Bedrooms 6, 7 & 8 - The last three bedrooms are set within one pavilion, tucked further back down a garden path. These rooms can access the aforementioned separate entrance too and feature ensuite bathrooms.


Indoors and outdoors

With its series of single-storey pavilions leisurely spread across the breadth of a terraced coconut grove garden, its elegant interiors and its blend of modern, antique and Dutch-colonial-inspired furnishings, colourful fabrics and artwork, Villa Kailasha embraces contemporary-tropical style. Guests staying here
have 1,100 square metres of tropical gardens to call their own, dotted with flowering trees and coconut palms that mingle with the scents of exotic blossoms.

The villa’s comfortable living pavilion, a stand-alone dining pavilion and a separate dining terrace all stand open to the gentle trade winds and dramatic ocean views. In a hidden corner, a self-contained, two-bedroom guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat while on the other side of the gardens the master suite presents complete privacy with its own plunge pool for relaxing in during leisurely afternoons or under clear, star-filled skies at night.

The huge garden rolls down to a dazzling 14-metre infinity-edged swimming pool bordered by a stone and grass deck with an open-sided gazebo to one side, and spectacular views of the rugged surf beach and the ocean, which is a mere three minute’s walk from the villa’s front gate.

A team of polite, thoughtful staff, including an in-house cook, are on hand to look after every need – shopping for groceries and serving meals, snacks and drinks. Guests, meanwhile, can escape to a secluded nook to read, rest and relax, or sip cocktails while gazing from the poolside gazebo at the orange glow of another glorious Bali sunset. Villa Kailasha is ideal for a family or a small group of friends, while its velvety lawns are perfect for weddings and other celebrations against the awesome backdrop of the sea.

Location

The villa is located ‘twixt rice fields and the beach within a Balinese village. It is a long way out of town and there are no restaurants, bars or shopping in the immediate vicinity apart from the five-star Alila Villas Soori, which is located just 300 metres away complete with a fine dining restaurant and an open-air bar serving cocktails beside the beach at sunset. A three-minute stroll from Villa Kailasha takes you to Kelating Beach featuring sparkling black sand and sweeping coastline views. The immediate neighbourhood is a small Balinese village called Dukuh which is bordered by rice fields as far as the eye can see
