Situated on the hills above the resort of La Plagne Montalbert, within the new Chalets de la Grande Ourse complex, Chalet Ursa offers over 151 m² of spacious living areas, bathed in natural light thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies offering breathtaking views of the valley and Mont Blanc. Six bedrooms comfortably accommodate twelve guests, striking a careful balance between conviviality and privacy. The chalet stands out for its master suite with a private hammam and access to a terrace featuring a jacuzzi, as well as its cosy living room warmed by a wood-burning stove. Ideally situated near the ‘Plantés – Gentil’ blue runs, it offers direct ski-in access from the forest run when there is sufficient snow cover.

Indoors 

The ground floor features a ski room equipped with a boot dryer, offering direct access to the slopes.

On the first floor, the fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine) opens onto a cosy living room warmed by a wood-burning stove, perfect for spending time with family or friends.

The whole chalet faces north and west, and features large bay windows that frame the view of the valley and Mont Blanc from several living areas.


Outdoors 

The chalet has a terrace accessible from the master bedroom, complete with a two-person hot tub, as well as balconies offering unobstructed views of the valley and Mont Blanc. Three private outdoor parking spaces complete the chalet’s outdoor facilities.


Staff & Services

Your stay includes Wi-Fi, beds made on arrival, towels, tea towels and bath mats. A final clean is provided, excluding washing up, tidying away bedding and taking out the rubbish, which remain the responsibility of the guests.

Two cots and two high chairs are available on request.

The chalet is non-smoking and does not allow pets.


Location

The chalet is situated on the hills above La Plagne Montalbert, within the Chalets de la Grande Ourse resort, right next to the ‘Plantés – Gentil’ blue runs. Ski-in access is possible directly from the forest run when snow conditions allow, with a return route via a short path leading to the cable car. A shuttle bus, with a stop approximately 200 metres from the chalet, provides access to the ski area and the resort’s shops. This elevated location offers a peaceful setting and superb sunshine, whilst maintaining convenient access to Montalbert’s main amenities.
