The movement of the ferries and all sorts of boas arriving and departing the Parikia Bay lends a theatre-like quality to the scene. Sunset is magic, a perfect time for cocktails and soft music. As the sun sets into the sea, the succession of colors change from gold, to bright red to deep purple, giving an incredible look to the horizon, the distant islands, the village and the villa itself. By night the lights of the town and the boats continue to enhance the view. It makes it really difficult sometimes to leave the villa.

It is easy to access road the villa via asphalt/cement paved road.
Location
Parikia is a beautiful seafront small town, with the port and a marina, and many shops, boutiques, bars, cafes, restaurants, super markets, groceries, pharmacies, medical center, art galleries, etc. The famous Ekantopyliani Cathedral and the archeological museum are of particular interest.
The villa sea view is unparalleled both day and night. Vacationers enjoy spectacular romantic sunsets with the sun dipping into the water. It is particularly relaxing to observe the ferries and private boats moving in and out of the port; a sight particularly enhanced when the boats are lit at night. The amazing view to the Parikia village, Antiparos, Sifnos and other nearby islands is another day/night vantage point of the property.
Activities
Sailing lessons and rentals are available in the nearby (700m) Paros Nautical Club (Bahia, Laser, Optimist & 420 type boats). Scuba diving, wind surfing, parachute surfing and a variety of sea sports are available at a number of nearby beaches.
The villa is a good starting point for walking along the bay to the beaches or Parikia village, and for gentle hiking in the nearby hills. The ancient Delos Sanctuary is a short/easy uphill walk and offers spectacular 360 views of the sea, sun, and surrounding islands.
Lefkes (12 klm/22’ drive)
There are various nearby organized and non-organized beaches in the Parikia Bay, well protected from Meltemi strong summer winds: The number one, best rated by visitors is Martselo Beach at 1.5 klm away (5min by car/20 min on foot), Krios and Livadia beaches at 1.0 klm (5 min by car/ 15 min on foot).
