Built in 1909 and occupying the site of a former medieval watchtower, Villa Piedra offers you one of the most beautiful view in Europe. You will enjoy the beauty and the tranquility of the place, since you don't have any neighboors and the environment is really quiet. The house has been fully restored to exceptional standards, offering 1,231 sqm of living space. This includes: 8 double bedrooms (6 ensuite); drawing room; living room; dining room; kitchen; study; media room, bar; 2 roof terraces, yoga/wellness room; pool house and entertainment area.
The pretty perched mountain village of Pigra is only 300 metres away and the popular lakeside village of Argegno can be reached within 4 minutes from the cable car station located 500 metres from the villa gates.

Indoors
The spectacular view can be enjoyed in alomost every part of the house : in the bedrooms thanks to their balconies and in the living room where you have a panoramic view of the Lake.
You have at your disposal an elevator linking the three floors of the house and the basement. You can work out in the gym room while enjoying the beauty of the view.
Eight of you can do yoga in the yoga/wellness facility.
The interior of the house is elegant, sober, spacious and bright with clear colors dominating.
The first and second floor are dedicated to 7 bedrooms.
The third floor is composed of a Suite bedroom and the living areas : two seating areas, the fully equipped kitchen and two roof terraces.
The villa enjoys rapid wi-fi, English satellite television channels, Sonos audio systems, children’s electronic games (PS4 and the Wii) and a wide selection of board games.
Dyson air conditioning fans in all bedrooms (they can be easily shifted to the other rooms/ common areas when required)
Outdoors
Once on the terrace, breathing the pure fresh air, you will admire the mix of wide blue lake and the green mountain view.
You can relax in the 22 meters long heated infinity pool, or in the deckchairs around it, enjoying the 360 degrees view over the lake
Also on the outside, there is an alfresco dining table under a pergola, perfect to have the dinner while admiring the sunset.
Carved out of the rock-face is a quite stunning yoga/wellness facility. This large room with inspiring views down the lake can easily accommodate 8 yoga practitioners side by side and also includes an area for gym equipment from Technogym. This includes the Kinesis cable weight training system, a rowing machine, an exercise bike, dumbbells, stretch bands and exercise balls. This room also benefits from an ensuite toilet, steam room and shower.
The villa has its own luxury boat moored at the bottom of the funicular in Argegno. The local ferries are very congested in summer and run to a strict timetable. Accordingly, having your own boat allows you to travel in comfort, to your own timetable and directly to where you want to go. This is particularly useful when wishing to access some of the lovely lakeside restaurants.
The Axopar 28 Brabus boat offers both speed and comfort and so is a perfect boat for water sports or simply enjoying an afternoon relaxing on the lake. Sunscreen, a picnic hamper and a few bottles of something bubbly is all you need.

Notes
- The villa management team can assist with the organization of basic additional services however if guests wish to have the support of a full concierge service this comes at an extra cost.
- Chef & assistant: 6 days a week; this includes the preparation of 2 meals per day (lunch and dinner). Food and beverage costs to be paid separately from guests (See Food & beverages deposit & Meals condition). If the chef is required for one extra day (7 days a week) this will be an extra cost of 700 euro and it must be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Food and Beverage Deposit: A food and beverage deposit of €10,000 is required in advance for all the grocery costs during guests stay.
- Meals conditions: Lunch is served from 12-2 pm; dinner 7-9 pm. If the guests wish to have their meals outside of these hours, this needs to be communicated in advance on that day to the Villa Manager and the chef will leave the meals ready for them in the kitchen but the guest’s wont’ be served. The menu choices for each day are to be communicated by the main guest to the villa manager one day in advance.
Lunch: Light lunch including one main and dessert
Dinner: 1 entrée (or buffet of starters), 1 main and dessert
