In summary

This large Savoyard village house on 3 levels nestled in the heart of the Chamonix valley is the former school of Argentière.
It has just undergone a complete renovation and can accommodate up to 16 people in its 7 rooms.
Located next to bars, shops and restaurants and at the foot of Chamonix's largest ski area, Les Grands Montets, Le Marti enjoys a very convenient location for mountain lovers in winter and summer.

Note : two of the bedrooms on the top floor of the chalet have a mezzanine with an extra bed in each but these areas have restricted room and a steep ladder for access. Should you be interested to use them please call our team to inquire.


Indoors and outdoors

​On the ground floor of the chalet there is a large modern living room with a central fireplace which separates it from the dining room.
The dining room opens onto the kitchen with a bar area.

The courtyard has a pretty terrace with a Nordic bath perfect for a moment of relaxation after skiing. Going down a few steps, you will find the ski room to store all your ski equipment as well as the sauna area.

The chalet has an elevator to access the upper floors of the chalet. The elevator does not serve the lower ground floor where the ski room and relaxation area are located.
On the upper two floors of the chalet there are 7 en suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 people. Six bedrooms can be arranged in double or twin bed configurations. For two additional people, the TV room on the first floor can be converted into a double bedroom. Two of the main bedrooms also have a loft bed, but these have limited space and a steep ladder to access them.


Staff & services

The price includes an intermediate cleaning (2 x 3 hours) and the final cleaning.


Location

Chalet Marti is located in the heart of the traditional village of Argentière, a few minutes' walk from bars, restaurants and shops. The departure point for the main Grands Montets gondola is approximately 1 km away. A little further up the valley you can access the Tour ski area.
From Le Marti it takes around 10 minutes by car to get to Chamonix. The nearest bus stop is a 4-minute walk from the chalet.
