Situated in the heart of the delightful hamlet Le Raffort, next to Chalet des Neiges, Chalet Vela oozes charm on the outside, which is predominantly old wood and stone. Indeed, Chalet Vela won the prize for the best renovation in the Alps at the distinguished Alp Home Exhibition!


Indoors 

The modern interior has a surface area of 320m² and offers 5 bedrooms plus trundle beds are available in the home cinema if required. 
Decorated in delightful mountain style (old wood, wooden beams and floors, stylish plaster) all the modern comforts are on offer – underfloor heating, central hoover system, 2 lift systems as well as a home cinema and spa area. All our rooms are large, with a full bathroom and separate WC, flat screen TV and linen as seen in all the best hotels. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard and there is wifi throughout the chalet.

Garage area:
One covered parking place is reserved for Chalet Vela. The garages are directly accessible from the interior of the chalet, so no need to go outside!

Ground Floor:

- Ski room with boot, glove and clothing dryers and ski racks – plus WC.
- Luggage lift.
- Ensuite bedroom 1 with bay window facing North; 27m² with a king/twin zip bed (200 x 180cm), bathroom with bath/shower and separate WC. Large wardrobe and corner desk, flat screen TV.
- Home cinema with giant screen and couches (which can become 2 comfortable beds (200 x 90cm) if required). There is no window in the home cinema room.
- Spa area with a 4 place Jacuzzi, shower and sauna.

First Floor:
- Luggage lift.
- Ensuite bedroom 2 with bay window facing South; 22m² with a king/twin zip bed (200 x 180cm), shower room with Italian shower and separate WC. Ample wardrobe space, corner desk, flat screen TV, terrace.
- Ensuite bedroom 3 with bay window facing South; 28m² with a king/twin zip bed (200 x 180cm), shower room with Italian shower and separate WC. Ample wardrobe space, flat screen TV, terrace.

Second Floor:
- Luggage lift.
- Hallway of 5m².
- Open plan kitchen 15m²; well equipped.
- Eating area 15m², with a round table for 10.
- Living area 25m² with fire place and windows facing directly South.
- Terrace 26m² with great views over the whole Méribel Valley, La Saulire and Mont Vallon. Lift for the logs.

Third Floor:
- Bedroom 4 of 16m² with 2 single beds (90 x 200cm), ample storage and a delightful corner shower/sink area.
- Master ensuite bedroom 5: 36m² with a large wardrobe, a king/twin zip bed (200 x 180cm), corner desk.  Bathroom with Italian shower and bath, WC and a fantastic view to the North. Private terrace to the South, with equally wonderful views!

The large South facing terrace offers a spectacular view over the Meribel Valley, the Saulire and Mont Vallon
