Indoors
Casa Felice is an ancient Tuscan farmhouse that contains a wealth of history, tradition and culture, as it was the home of Felice Matteucci who invented the internal combustion engine (prototype of today's automobile) in his workshop.
The ground floor is spacious and sunny and includes a living room with comfortable sofas, a study, a large domed dining room and a Tuscan kitchen.
On the first floor are the 6 bedrooms and their bathrooms and one bedroom on the groundfloor.
The villa offers a brand new wifi System (150MB +). It is available indoor and outdoor (even in the swimming pools).
Outdoors
The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a swimming pool (12m x 6m x 1.8m) with sun beds and a pond with a small private island.
An outdoor dining area with a barbecue will allow you to share a meal with family and friends.
The property also offers access to a car park and a chapel, as well as a shared tennis, football and volleyball court (shared).
The lake has been fully renovated, now it is bigger and nicer.
Staff & Services
The price includes: daily chef service for breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week (rest day on Wednesday), daily maid service (mornings, 6 days a week - rest day on Sunday), concierge service, electricity consumption (up to 750 kW - above this amount guests will be charged according to usage), water and gas consumption, linen replacement (Saturday and Wednesday), garden and pool maintenance, access to the Tennis Football / Volleyball Fields (+ balls and rackets).
3 meal options are available during your stay:
- Classic: composed by starter, first course or second course with side dish, dessert hand made by the chef, water and soft drinks unlimited, coffee and 1 bottle of wine every 4 persons. This menu can be either fish or meat.
- Deluxe: composed by starter, first course, second course with side dish, dessert hand made by the chef, water and soft drinks unlimited, coffee and 1 bottle of wine every 4 persons. This menu can be either fish or meat.
- Buffet: composed by 2 starter, 2 first course, 2 second course with side dish, dessert hand made by the chef, water and soft drinks unlimited, coffee and 1 bottle of wine every 4 persons. This menu can be either fish or meat.
Location
The Villa is located in Vorno in the area of Lucca. The village and restaurants are within walking distance of the house.
A putting green is 2.4 km away, a golf course 29 km, a tennis club 2.4 km and the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are 19 km away.
